Why do we need sponsors?

Sponsors can help us with bout production including venue rental, insurance, sound, lighting, and equipment such as scoreboard software, water coolers, etc. Team uniforms. Practice venue rink rental. Coaching fees. Association membership fees. Web hosting costs. Flyers, brochures, and other printed materials. Merchandise. You name it--we need it.

For the past several years, women’s flat track roller derby has taken the country by storm. With over 75 leagues in the United States today, this new twist on an older sport has gained national media attention in the likes of Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and CNN's Now with Paula Zahn. It has spawned a reality television show on A&E, and has been featured on local television and radio stations and in local publications too abundant to mention.

Pittsburgh’s Steel City Derby Demons are proud to join the ranks of these female owned and operated leagues. With our second season fast approaching, we are offering you the opportunity to get in the game!
