Steel City fans all know how great Hurricane Heather is, and now the rest of the nation will know too!  Heather has been named the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s (WFTDA) Featured Skater of the Month for February.  What an honor!   Heather was interviewed by the WFTDA about her jam skating background, the Steel Hurtin’s goals for this season, her reputation as “one of the friendliest derby players on the track,” and much more!

Don’t miss Heather and the rest of the SCDD in our home season opener, Saturday February 19th at Romp n’ Roll in Glenshaw.  The Steel Hurtin’ take on Queen City’s Lake Effect Furies (Buffalo/Tonawanda NY), and the Blitzburgh Bombers will play the Little Steel Derby Girls (Youngstown, OH) in this double-header derby event.
