Hope to see you all there!

It was an exciting but ultimately disappointing night for the Steel City as we hosted the Philadelphia Roller Girls last night. Currently ranked fourth in the nation, (compared with Steel City’s own ranking of sixteenth) Philadelphia’s experience was ultimately the lynch pin in a double defeat of both the B-Unit and Steel Hurtin’. Thanks for coming to the bout!
Also, congratulations to the winners of our fundraiser to get to Milwaukee, J. W. Edgar and Amy Miller!
Final scores:
B-Unit 28, Independence Dolls 142
Steel Hurtin 63, Liberty Belles 161

See you all next weekend at our Three Rivers Derby Fest fundraiser.

Last night was another amazing evening for roller derby in the steel city. The Blitzburgh Bombers lived up to their name and performed a blitz assault on the NEO Rock and Roller Girls Audio Assault of Akron, OH. Similarly, the Steel Hurtin’ was able to beat the girls from the Burning River Roller Girls of Cleveland, OH in an incredibly fast paced and heated rematch.
Final scores:
Blitzburgh Bombers 195; NEO 35
Steel Hurtin’ 225; Burning River 62
